Jacqui is back with us and raring to show us this “neat” way to make a Christmas pottery platter! It uses slab pottery techniques but incorporates some wheel techniques as well! Your Christmas pottery platter will look similar to the one pictured but not exactly the same (if you have taken any of the classes at MVAC you know individual tastes always make for something a little different). Wouldn’t you love to serve your family and friends an appetizer or even the Christmas meat off this one of a kind piece??

Finished pieces will measure approximately 13”.

This is a two part class . . . November 16th is the building class . . . November 30th is the glazing class. You will need to attend both days to complete your platter.

Jacqui will have a variety of patterns and textures you are welcome to press into your soft clay during the building stage (cedar fronds, pine cones, textured rolling pins, etc.) BUT if you have something special you’d like to incorporate, please bring it with you!

All supplies included.

Adults only.

Limit of 6 participants.

$75.00 + GST (for both classes, total)

$70.00 + GST for MVAC Pass Holders.

Registration for this class closes midnight, November 11th, 2026.
