Hand-Built Clay Canoe Dish with Sandra Dorrance

  • Moosomin Visual Arts Centre 701 Ellice Street Moosomin, SK, S0G 3N0 Canada (map)

This adorable dish will hold your keys, your Easter eggs, cherry tomatoes, candies, . . . you name it! AND . . . you have the opportunity to build and glaze one yourself to add to your own decor. The finished canoe dish is approximately 22cm long x 10 cm tall. You will learn hand-building and glazing techniques. The glazed finish will allow your canoe dish to be used for food if you so desire.

This is a two-part class. Tuesday, September 23rd from 12:30 - 3:30 pm you will work on building your canoe dish. Wednesday, October 8th from 12:30 - 2:30 pm you will glaze your canoe dish.
