The Art of Bullet Journaling

  • Moosomin Visual Arts Centre 701 Ellice Street Moosomin, SK, S0G 3N0 Canada (map)

Did you have that New Year’s resolution that you were going to get more organized? More productive? More intentional? More reflective? More . . . well, just more? Bullet Journaling can definitely help with some of that! Bullet journaling has been around for a while and people who have taken the time to learn the system have found it beneficial to their focus and productivity.

Participants of all ages are welcome but those 10 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Join us the evening of Wednesday, March 11th for the first of two (maybe three, depending on the interest) to learn about bullet journaling.

We will be following a couple of guided courses put out by Domestika by watching video lessons on the big screen TV in the Creation Space then applying those video lessons to our own lives to create an individualized, one of a kind, bullet journal.

March 11th: We will investigate inspiration for our bullet journal and try to determine goals we would like to works towards using our journals. We will also think about what type of a notebook we would like to use for our own bullet journal (dotted? lined? graph paper? blank?) and what other tools or writing utensils we require to create our journal.

You are welcome to share MVAC’s rulers, glue, pens and markers, but you will need to purchase your own journal . . . Please DO NOT do this until after the first class! After the first class you will have a better idea of what you need and if you would like to purchase anything else.

March 25th: We will build our bullet journal, personalizing it as we go so we can start using it right away to help achieve our goals. We will decide at this time if we need another meeting to learn a bit more about trackers.

Registration for this class closes midnight, Monday, March 9th.

Melissa will be hosting these sessions . . . that means she hopes to win the battle of technology and is able to show you the video lessons. It should be noted that Melissa does journal and has researched various forms of bullet journals . . . she’ll have samples of her journals with her so you can see for yourself how your style might evolve.

Follow the link below to register for this class. Registration is not complete until payment is received.

Please include in the “memo” portion of your e-transfer payment, the name of the participant and the name of the class.
