❓Are you or do you know of a teenager who is rattling around with “nothing to do” and a desire to create? Have them check out this fine opportunity! Spend an afternoon learning how to make candles.🕯️This is one of 4 summer teen pop-up classes happening this summer at the Moosomin Visual Arts Centre.

We will spend three hours melting wax, sculpting wax, pouring wax, . . . creating various candles like pillar candles, container candles, a sculpted candle, floating candles, . . . We will learn different methods of colouring our wax and how to add scents to our wax to make our own unique creations.

Supplies are included in the cost.

Your teen may wish to bring a snack 🍪and a drink 🧃to consume as they create.

Maximum of 10 participants from ages 13 - 17.

We are able to keep registration costs low with the help of South East District who are subsidizing our programming through the 4 Seasons Participation Grant!

Registration for this class closes midnight July 3rd, 2026.

If something in your teen’s life changes between registration close and the beginning of the class that would allow your otherwise busy teen to join us, please contact Melissa @306-434-6362 to see if there is a spot available.

If your teen would like to join but is unable to get to the Moosomin Visual Arts Centre, please contact Melissa to see if transportation arrangements can be made.
